PROFILE
Jean Koeppel has over 15 years of experience across diverse companies and industries in B2B and B2C (Building Industry: Lighting & Controls, Architectural Building Products & Materials, Transportation, Consumer Package Goods & Retail) - activating company missions, launching products, product lines, services, start-up businesses, brands and communication campaigns.
A high-energy leader – with the ability to leverage digital and traditional marketing methods – Koeppel has assisted brands of $50m to $20b in revenue, across 15 different product and service categories.
Her diversity of experience, action-orientation approach, and a focused, straightforward attitude has made her a go-to strategic consultant for businesses interested in growth and innovation. Throughout Jean’s career she has delivered hundreds of millions of incremental dollars in revenue and profit to the companies that she has served by aligning insights, mission, brand, strategy and process with creative executions across all disciplines.
Following early years of formal training in product design & architecture in the US, Switzerland and the UK, Koeppel’s core interest evolved into strategic, interdisciplinary roles within London’s leading consultancies.
Koeppel returned to her native US. Recruited by Gensler – the world’s largest architectural practice – where she directed the New York strategic team. There, she received notable recognition for project work, including a Gold Clio, AIA Highest Honors, plus a Finalist in the 9/11 Memorial Competition.
She then ran her own business before being hired as Managing Director at the New York office of UK-based Blue Marlin. Specializing in the CPG industry, Jean was responsible for growing the US remit of its global brand strategy group.
Koeppel was hired by UK-based Billings Jackson to drive business growth in NA, while growing the Strategic Practice Group, focused in lighting and controls.

Since then, Koeppel has consulted with several companies in the building industry by helping them understand their target audience and positioning their product portfolio, sales strategy and overall market position.
Accepting challenges, embracing change, and going above-and-beyond expectations, Koeppel is living (and working) proof that even the most complex business problems can be solved.
